After living in the United States for 15 years, I came back to my hometown Matsue, a small city in the western part of Japan, in November 2014. I imposed a simple rule on myself. Use only American saltwater lures for at least one year and report what they catch...... When a year had passed since then, I decided not to lift this ridiculous restriction. I am still using only American lures.（2014年11月、15年間のアメリカ生活を終え、島根県松江市に帰郷した私は、自分自身に一つのルールを課しました。少なくとも１年間、アメリカのソルトルアーだけを使い、釣果を報告すること......。そして１年が経過した時、私は、この馬鹿馬鹿しい制約を解除しないことに決めました。今もまだ、アメリカのルアーだけを使っているのです。）

(No. 917) No Audience Again at My Second Stage Appearance in Mitsu (御津にて２度目の舞台も、またもや無観客)





I made my stage debut at Butai in Mitsu several days ago (No. 913). This morning I made my second stage appearance, and it was a disaster again. The audience didn’t like my stage performance at all. They didn’t respond to whatever I did. I even wondered if anyone actually sit in the seats. The seats might have been empty… There was only a calm sea and a few fishing boats in front of me.
（私は数日前、御津の舞台でステージデビューを果たしました（No. 913）。今朝、私は２回目のステージに立ちましたが、またしても大失敗でした。観客は、私のステージを全く気に入らないのです。何をやっても無反応。本当に誰か客席に座っているのだろうか、とさえ思いました。もしや、客席は無人なのでは…。目の前には、穏やかな海と数隻の漁船があるだけでした。）
