The show must go on even if there is no audience. This morning I made my third stage appearance at Butai in Mitsu. There was no audience again. No response at all. There was only one small fishing boat floating on the surface. The professional fisherman on it cheerfully yelled at me, “Be careful!” I replied, “Yes. No fish!” You may think our conversation doesn’t make sense at all in this blog, but it made perfect sense at the shore. After completing my 3rd performance at Butai, I moved to Ohira, the neighboring fishing spot to the west of Butai. The result didn’t change.
（観客がいなくともショーは続くのです。今朝も御津の舞台で３度目のステージに立ちました。またもや観客はゼロ。全く反応がありません。水面には小型の漁船が浮かんでいるだけです。その漁師が私に向かって陽気に叫びました。「気をつけえだで！」。私は「はい。なんだい釣れません！」と答えました。この会話は、このブログ上では意味が通らないように思えるかもしれませんが、海岸では意味が通るのです。３度目の舞台出演を終えた私は、西隣にある別の釣り場、大平に移りました。結果は変わりませんでした。）
