The rain did not fall for some time, and I forgot that we were still during the rainy season. The rain clouds came back this weekend, and the rain started falling again. It was a light and sporadic one. So I was able to fish at Lake Shinji several times without being annoyed by a heavy rain. Nothing exciting happened except when my Roberts Whistler drew one splashy strike probably from a Japanese sea bass.
