After living in the United States for 15 years, I came back to my hometown Matsue, a small city in the western part of Japan, in November 2014. I imposed a simple rule on myself. Use only American saltwater lures for at least one year and report what they catch...... When a year had passed since then, I decided not to lift this ridiculous restriction. (No. 775) Continuously No Fish at Lake Shinji (宍道湖にて引き続き釣果なし)




I have been to Lake Shinji five times since I posted the previous article yesterday morning. I tried hard to catch a Japanese sea bass in order to satisfy my mother’s huge appetite, but I have failed so far. I got only a short bite on CCW’s Classic Danny, but I was not sure if it was a Japanese sea bass or a needlefish.
（昨日の朝、前回の記事を投稿してから、私は５回も宍道湖に行きました。母の大食いを満足させるためにスズキを釣ろうと頑張ったのですが、今のところ失敗しています。CCWのクラシック・ダニーに短いバイトがあっただけで、それがスズキなのかダツなのかは分かりませんでした。）
