I planned to start today’s fishing about 5 a.m., but I overslept. It was at 7:11 a.m. that I started throwing one of Roberts Lures to the calm ocean. Today I used a spinning reel (Ohmori Factory’s Tackle-Auto No.4) because I wanted to reel in my lure as fast as possible. I aimed for some fast swimming summer fish, such as the barracuda, mahi-mahi, and striped bonito. My Roberts Whistler and Ranger skittered on the surface enticingly, but nothing fast chased them.
