I have been to Lake Shinji several times this weekend, including two times when I threw lures toward the vast surface. Whenever I was there, I saw some lure fishermen both on the boats in the distance and at the shore. As far as I could see, nobody seemed to catch the Japanese sea bass. I wondered whether too much pressure might have been on the fish. That might be the reason why the fish was not very responsive.
