I did not have enough time to drive to “Pachinkoya-no-ura” this afternoon. So I walked to Lake Shinji with just one type of lure; Line Stretcher’s Surface Tension. I like them as much as I like Roberts plugs such as Ranger or Whistler. They are similar. The concept behind the design seems the same. They are such simple topwater plugs. However, while I use Roberts plugs very often (actually whenever I go fishing I always use them), I rarely use Surface Tension. Because Line Stretcher has been out of business and I am not able to buy new one. If I lost it, I couldn’t replenish it. So I rarely use them although I love them.
（今日の午後は、車で「パチンコ屋の裏」に行く時間がありませんでした。そこで、ライン・ストレッチャーのサーフェス・テンションという一種類のルアーだけ持って宍道湖まで歩いたのです。レンジャーやホイッスラーなどロバーツのプラグと同じくらい好きなルアーです。両者は似ています。デザインの背景にあるコンセプトも同じだと思います。とてもシンプルなトップウォーター・プラグなのです。しかし私は、ロバーツのプラグはよく使いますが（実際、釣りに行くときは常に使います）、サーフェス・テンションはほとんど使いません。というのも、ライン・ストレッチャーが廃業してしまい、新しいものが買えなくなってしまったからです。紛失しても補充できません。だから、大好きなのにほとんど使っていないのです。）
