My photo
After living in the United States for 15 years, I came back to my hometown Matsue, a small city in the western part of Japan, in November 2014. I imposed a simple rule on myself. Use only American saltwater lures for at least one year and report what they catch...... When a year had passed since then, I decided not to lift this ridiculous restriction.

(No. 1464) No Fish at Saruwatari in Nonami

“Not only me!” While climbing down the path in the woods for Saruwatari in Nonami this morning, I felt encouraged because someone apparently had maintained the assist rope along the path. I felt comradeship for someone whom I probably had not seen in person. This morning I started throwing my favorite plugs at 10:50 a.m. As I had done yesterday at Safuki-bana, I kept throwing them for full 30 minutes, but nothing happened. I just saw once a large school of small baitfish swimming along the shore in a leisurely way. They looked so carefree that I got made convinced there was no predatory fish around.
