While bait fishermen keep catching the chinu fish (the Japanese black porgies) constantly along the northern shore of Lake Shinji, no Japanese sea bass has responded to my big American plugs. So I just enjoy chatting with those bait fishermen while maneuvering my favorite plugs on the surface of the lake. As you may know, all of my plugs now have only one barbless single hook. I call it “One Barbless Single Hook Solution,” which is inspired by the “One Hook Solution” advocated by Mr. Dave Anderson & Mr. Jerry Audet. I have not noticed any significant difference in movement of my plugs before and after my solution was applied, except for one plug. For the Tsunami XD Talkin Popper, the solution seems to improve its movement. I cannot say exactly how, but I can say I get more pleasure from using the popper than before. Hopefully the popper could bring a nice fish to me.
