Today was the hottest day in Matsue this summer. It was so hot that the first thing I wanted to do when I walked down to Senjojiki in Mitsu was to jump into the sea. Resisting the temptation, I threw my lures first, but no fish responded to them. So I started swimming, and the seawater saved me from the danger of heatstroke. There was another lure fisherman at Senjojki. To my surprise, he knew this blog. In addition to the refreshing seawater, that was also the reason why I was happy all along even if no fish responded to both of us.
（今日の松江市は、この夏いちばんの暑さでした。とても暑かったので、御津の千畳敷に降りていった私が真っ先にやりたかったのは、海に飛び込むことでした。その誘惑に抗しつつ、私はまずはルアーを投げましたが、魚からの反応はありません。なので泳ぎ始めました。すると海水が、私を熱中症の危機から救ってくれたのでした。千畳敷には、もう一人、ルアー釣り師の姿がありました。驚いたことに、その男性は、このブログのことをご存知でした。気持ちの良い海水だけでなく、そのこともまた、彼にも私にも魚からの反応がなかったにもかかわらず、私がずっと幸せであった理由なのです。）
