One of the worst things that could happen to a fisherman happened to me this morning. I was at between Maruiwa and Susumi-hana in Owashi. There were no baitfish around, and nothing happened to my lures. There was a pair of lure fishermen at Maruiwa, and not only my lures but also theirs didn’t produce anything. Fish was not responsive at all, but that was not the worst thing happened to me. That was as usual. After I enjoyed swimming around the fishing spot, I detached a pair of attachable cleats from my shoes and placed it on one of rocks. Only after I came home did I remember I had left it there. The worst is remembering something left at a fishing spot only after you come home. I had to return to the shore under the excruciating sun. That’s when I took two pictures. Hope you appreciate the beauty of the sea through the last two photos.
（釣り人にとって最悪の事態の１つが、今朝、私の身に起きました。私は大芦の丸岩と須々海鼻の間にいました。ベイトフィッシュ（大きな魚の餌となる小魚）の姿はなく、ルアーには何も起きません。丸岩には２人組のルアー釣り師がいましたが、私のルアーだけでなく、彼らのルアーにも成果はありませんでした。魚からの反応が全くないのです。しかし、それが私に起きた最悪の事態というわけではありません。それはいつものことなのです。釣り場周辺で泳いだ後、私は、シューズから取り外した脱着式スパイクを岩の上に置きました。そして、家に帰ってからやっと、そこに置いたままであることを思い出したのでした。釣り場に忘れ物をしたことを帰宅後に思い出すというのは、最悪です。私は炎天下の海岸に戻らねばなりませんでした。その時に写真を２枚撮りました。最後の２つの写真から、海の美しさを感じていただければ幸いです。）
