Today I used a spinning tackle. Probably I am getting a bit tired of using an old conventional reel. I took out Ohmori Factory’s Tackle-Auto No.4. Ohmori Factory has been defunct for a long time. I have used some of its spinning reels, and I think the Tackle-Auto No.4 is one of its bests. In general, an older spinning reel tends to cause line trouble when you use the braided line on it. In order to avoid it, you have to be careful not to spool the line to the maximum capacity. From my experience the Tackle-Auto No.4 is free from the trouble. I am not sure, but it is probably thanks to its so-called “stroke slowdown mechanism.” With the braided line spooled almost to the maximum capacity, I enjoyed throwing my favorite lures without any worry. Although nothing was caught.
（今日はスピニング・タックルを使いました。おそらく私は、古い両軸リールを使うことに少し飽きてきているのでしょう。持ち出したのは、大森製作所のタックル・オート No.4でした。大森製作所が操業を終えて長い時がたちます。そのスピニングリールを幾つか使ってきた私は、タックル・オート No.4を彼らの最高傑作の一つだと思っています。一般に、古いスピニングリールでPEラインを使うと、ライントラブルが起きがちです。それを避けるためには、スプールの容量いっぱいまでラインを巻かないよう気をつけねばなりません。私の経験から言えば、タックル・オート No.4はこのトラブルと無縁です。確信はないのですが、おそらく「ストローク減速機構装置」とやらが付いているからではないでしょうか。私は、PEラインをほとんど容量いっぱいまで巻いて、お気に入りのルアーを不安なく投げて楽しみました。何も釣れませんでしたが。）
