Time flies. The year 2019 is going to end in 2 weeks. I wonder how many more times I can go fishing by the end of the year and whether I can catch a yellowtail amberjack in 2019. I was at Saruwatari in Nonami this morning. I used my favorite American lures, such as Roberts Ranger and Guppy Lure’s pencil popper. I had not caught the coveted fish on those lures and therefore I kept tenaciously using them. My tenacity has not yet paid off. Being peacefully calm, only the sea consoled me.
（光陰矢の如し。2019年も残すところあと２週間です。大晦日までにあと何回、釣りにいけるのだろうか、そして2019年中にヒラマサが釣れるのだろうか、と考えています。今朝は野波の猿渡にいました。ロバーツ・レンジャーやグッピールアーのペンシル・ポッパーなど、お気に入りのアメリカのルアーを使いました。憧れの魚、ヒラマサをそれらのルアーで釣ったことはありませんが、だからこそ私は辛抱強く、それらを使い続けているのです。私の辛抱強さは、まだ、実を結びません。のんびりと穏やかな海だけが、私を慰めてくれました。）
