It might have been some big fish. This morning I started casting my lures from Saruwatari in Nonami about 7 a.m. About 1 hour later I suddenly noticed that a small area of the surface was strangely wavy. The shape of the surface of the area looked different from the surrounding area. Something big seemed slowly moving below the surface. It was within my casting distance, so I made casts toward the area. The phenomenon lasted a few minutes. I kept casting my lures for a while after the mysterious wave disappeared. I waited for the phenomenon or any other interesting actions to happen again for one hour and a half, but the calmness of the sea was not broken any more.
