My current translation assignment will be over within 24 hours. In other words, the deadline for the job is tomorrow. I have been revising my translation since this morning with such concentration that my brain got completely tired by this late afternoon. In order to revive my concentration for closing the assignment, I had to do something different from English translation. So I drove to Kurauchi Bay with a few of my favorite lures. Some nice patches of sarashi (white churning water) were formed in the bay. I got fully satisfied with only several casts. I found one guy looking down at the fishing spot from the upper part of the rocky shore. He told me that he recently started fishing for Japanese sea bass along the rocky shore. He seemed to have some experience in catching the fish in Lake Shinji but not much along the rocky shore of Shimane Peninsula. I was happy to give him some advice.
（今取り組んでいる翻訳の仕事は、24時間以内に終了します。言い換えれば、その仕事の締切は明日なのです。今日は朝からずっと、大変な集中力で翻訳の推敲をしていたため、午後遅くには、脳が疲れ果ててしまいました。仕事を締めくくるのに必要な集中力を復活させるためには、英語の翻訳とは全く異なる何かをする必要がありました。そこで私は、お気に入りのルアーを数個携えて、倉内湾へと向かったのです。湾には、良いサラシ（かき混ぜられた白い水）が出来ていました。数投しただけで、私は完全に満足できました。磯の上方から釣り場を見ている男性の姿がありました。磯でのスズキ釣りを最近始めました、と言われます。宍道湖でのスズキ釣りの経験はあっても、島根半島の磯での経験はあまりないようです。私は喜んでアドバイスをしてあげました。）
