The more swamped I get with my translation job, the higher your chance gets to see me fishing at Lake Shinji. That’s an established theory. As I have probably mentioned before on this blog, my translation job requires my utmost concentration. If I don’t fully concentrate, I easily make careless mistakes. And careless mistakes are often the most difficult error to identify. In order to maintain my concentration at the highest level, I have to take a regular break. I shouldn’t keep working too long. I have to forget my translation at regular intervals, letting my brain do some different activities. That's the one and only reason why I went to Lake Shinji this afternoon!! Just because you often see me fishing at Lake Shinji, you should not think I am a lazy person. On the contrary, at the time when you see me fishing idly at the lake, I might be the world busiest fisherman!! Joking aside, when I was throwing my favorite lures by Shinjiko Ohashi Bridge this afternoon, a pair of tourists talked to me. Whenever approached by tourists, I instantly turn myself from a idle fisherman into a diligent tourism ambassador. I told them a short story of the lake. See? I might be the world busiest fisherman really.
