As I reported on one of my earlier posts (No. 1298), I applied “The One Hook Solution” to all of my plugs about 6 months ago. Since then each of my plugs has had just one treble hook. Today I announce that I advanced the revolutionary “One Hook” concept even further. I took off all of my treble hooks from my plugs. And I pledged to use only one barbless single hook for each plug from now on. I believe my plugs will be as safe and gentle as they can be. The odds of catching a fish might decrease, but I don’t care. Instead, the gambling factor in my fishing might grow larger. A plug with one barbless single hook somehow reminds me of the game of “pachinko,” a Japanese gamble using an upright pinball machine. You cannot get a win in pachinko very often. The fewer the win is, the bigger your excitement is when you win. As a result of the further advance, I have too many treble hooks now. If you live in Japan and want my used treble hooks, give me a message with your contact information. If you pay a delivery charge, I will send the hooks to you for free.
