After living in the United States for 15 years, I came back to my hometown Matsue, a small city in the western part of Japan, in November 2014. I imposed a simple rule on myself. Use only American saltwater lures for at least one year and report what they catch...... When a year had passed since then, I decided not to lift this ridiculous restriction. (No. 1345) One Strike at Kurauchi Bay (倉内湾にてストライクあり)

 

The new concept, which I discussed on my earlier post No. 1343, might be effective. This afternoon, under the intense sunlight about 1 p.m., a fish struck my Line Stretcher Surface Tension plug on the surface of Kurauchi Bay when I was retrieving the plug as fast as possible with my fastest reel, PENN Battle III 4000HS. Unfortunately, the fish didn't get hooked, but the new concept, retrieving a smaller lure as fast as possible, might work.
（先日の投稿、No.1343で紹介した新コンセプトは、もしかしたら効果があるのかもしれません。今日の午後１時頃、強烈な日差しの下、私が所有する最速のリール、PENNのバトルIII 4000HSを使って、ライン・ストレッチャーのサーフェス・テンションプラグを全速力でリトリーブしていたところ、魚がヒットしたのです。残念ながらその魚は針に掛かりませんでしたが、小さめのルアーを全速力でリトリーブするという新コンセプトは、効果があるのかもしれません。）
