I continue to be more of a tourist attraction than an angler. I can't entice fish to attack my lure, but I can easily get tourists, and even locals, to talk to me. I am happy and proud of my feat, but I am also a bit disappointed. Because catching a big fish in front of them would be a much more exciting attraction for them. In order to maneuver an American pencil popper attractively for both fish and people, I have primarily used my PENN Torque 5 bail-less spinning reel, instead of my conventional reel, since I caught the big and fat Japanese sea bass the other day. I appreciate again how good Torque 5 is, but I reached a rather peculiar decision today. I would like to say farewell to my PENN Torque 5. I feel it’s not the right reel that I should own at this stage of my fishing life. I feel I should own and use a more primitive reel. So I just put the reel up for online auction.
