The modified top section of my 11’ Lamiglas Insane surf rod worked fine at Saruwatari in Nonami this morning. Which doesn’t mean I caught fish. I mean the additional rod guide I had attached yesterday successfully prevented my line from getting tangled in the top section. There seemed still no predatory fish around Saruwatari, but baitfish remained plenty, so I have to be ready for a big strike that could happen at any moment.
（今朝、野波の猿渡では、11フィートのラミグラス・インセイン・サーフロッドの改良型トップセクションがうまく機能しました。魚が釣れたという意味ではありません。昨日取り付けたロッドガイドのおかげで、トップセクションにラインが絡まなくなったということなのです。猿渡周辺にはまだ捕食魚はいないようですが、ベイトフィッシュ（大きな魚の餌となる小魚）はたくさんいるので、いつ起きてもおかしくない大きなストライクに、私は備えねばなりません。）
