I overslept and started today’s fishing around 8:30 a.m., much later than usual. I didn't have much time for fishing because the highly-anticipated showdowns were imminent. So I was afraid. “What would I do if the yellowtail amberjacks were so responsive today? I might not be able to give up fishing early enough for watching the showdowns.” Fortunately and unfortunately, the sea around Saruwatari was so quiet as usual that no fish responded to my lures. So I became able to happily watch the two showdowns; Kamala vs. Donald and Yamamoto vs. Imanaga.
（今日は寝坊してしまい、いつもよりかなり遅い、８時半から釣り開始でした。注目の対決が迫っているため、釣りをする時間はあまりありません。ですので私は心配だったのです。「今日、ヒラマサの反応が良かったらどうしよう？ 注目の対決を見るために納竿するなんて、できないかも」。幸運なことに、そして不幸なことに、猿渡周辺の海はいつものように静かで、私のルアーに反応する魚はいませんでした。だから私は２つの対決を楽しく見ることができました。カマラ対ドナルド、そして山本対今永です。）
