There were plenty of baitfish around Susumi-hana in Owashi this morning, but it seemed that predatory fish had not yet arrived. No fish responded to my lures. I was frustrated. The reason why I got frustrated was not the unresponsiveness of the fish to my lures. I got frustrated because of the fact that I was not a good caster. The rod I was using this morning was 11’ Lamiglas Insane surf. It's one of my favorite rods. It’s strong but not very stiff. It’s graphite but felts like fiberglass. So I love the rod. But, probably due to my poor casting form, my fishing line is likely to get tangled up in the section between the first and the second guides. So I added an extra guide between them. I hope this addition would make me a more efficient caster.
（今朝、大芦の須々海鼻周辺にはベイトフィッシュ（大きな魚の餌となる小魚）がたくさんいたのですが、捕食魚たちは、まだ到来していないようでした。私のルアーには魚からの反応がありません。私はイライラしていました。イライラした理由は、ルアーに魚からの反応がなかったからではありません。上手くキャストできなかったので、イライラしたのです。今朝使っていた竿は、11フィートのラミグラス・インセイン・サーフです。私のお気に入りの竿の１つです。丈夫ですが硬すぎず、グラファイトですがグラスのような感触です。なので、この竿が大好きなのです。ただ、おそらくは私のキャスティング・フォームが悪いせいで、第１ガイドと第２ガイドの間の部分にラインが絡まりやすいのです。そこで、２つのガイドの間に、もう１つガイドを追加しました。この追加のおかげで、より効率的にキャスティングできるようになることを願っています。）
