Since my last post on June 1st, I have been to Lake Shinji almost uncountable times and tried as many methods of moving lures as I know, but still I have not caught any Japanese sea bass. I even tried some exotic unproven lures for catching Japanese sea bass. For example, I used a large spinner for pike/muskie fishing that I had bought in Stockholm two years ago. However hard I tried, the fish remained unresponsive to not only my American lures but also most of Japanese lures used by other regulars to the lakeside.
