The so-called “Konoshiro-pattern” might not have begun yet. I have been to Lake Shinji several times since the last catch, and I have been skunked. Not only I but also other regulars at the lake have been without luck at least from the shore. However, it does not mean I could not enjoy fishing at the lake. It was a balmy day today, and many people came to the lakeside to enjoy the refreshing evening. I had nice chats with a few girl students, a few kids with a young mother, and of course a few fellow fishermen.
