I have been to Lake Shinji as I had been before, but I have not seen any regulars to the lakeside for a few days. Nobody had caught any fish for some time, so they must have gone to supposedly more productive fishing spots, such as Lake Nakaumi or the Ohashi River. Today I did what I could do only when I was alone. I moved pencil poppers very wildly. The lures made such huge splashes that I ended up with wondering whether I was trying to catch the fish or trying to drive them away. If there had been another fisherman around me, he might have been annoyed. I also screamed, “Kinshasa!” when I cast my lures. I mimicked the shout that the WWE announcer gives when Shinsuke Nakamura performs the finishing move. Amazingly, the distance of my flying lures got improved with “Kinshasa!”
