Although they say the Ohashi River and Lake Nakaumi are hot now, I keep going only to Lake Shinji. As I mentioned before, I have already caught two huge Japanese sea bass in this season, and therefore I will remain happy enough even if I don’t catch any more. On my way home from the lake this afternoon, my huge fishing tackle interested some schoolchildren that were marching cheerfully on the shoulder of a road. They were on their way home, too. “Ah! Fisherman!” one of the boys screamed. I replied, “I did not catch any.” Then, after a short period of contemplation, he screamed back. “You had better not give up!”
