Yesterday I had only one hour to fish, but today I am completely free, so that I fished hard for 2.5 hours from 7 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. I did my best and used all of my tricks in order to induce a yellowtail amberjack to hit my lures, but I failed. There was no sign of the fish. I did not see any baitfish either. I felt consoled by the fact that the water was still warm enough for me to enjoy swimming in the sea.
（昨日はわずか１時間しか釣ることができませんでしたが、今日は丸一日時間があるので、午前７時から９時半までの２時間半、しっかり釣りをしました。ヒラマサをそそのかしてルアーを襲わせるために、私は全力を尽くし、持てる限りの手練手管を駆使しましたが、うまくいきませんでした。ヒラマサの気配はありません。ベイトフィッシュ（大きな魚の餌となる小魚）の姿もまた、ありませんでした。海水はまだ十分に温かく、海水浴を楽しむことができたので、私は慰められたように感じました。）
