Azaleas came into bloom brightly along the bushy path toward Saruwatari in Nonami, and I saw some small fish that I see mostly in the summertime around the fishing spot. So I hoped that the water temperature already became high enough for swimming. I put my foot under the water and found it still too chilly for me to swim in. As an honorable “non-fisherman,” who is very eco-friendly because he cannot catch and therefore damage any fish at all, I enjoyed my “non-fishing” very much at Saruwatari this morning. The water was very calm. I felt the summer was just around the corner.
