Although it was not a species that I have been aiming for, the catch of yesterday temporarily weakened my passion in quest of a huge Japanese sea bass in Lake Shinji. This morning I went to Saruwatari in Nonami, one of the most productive rocky shores along the Shimane Peninsula. In addition to fishing, there is another passion in me. I love to swim in the sea. Recently the temperature has risen unseasonably, and I guessed that the water temperature became high enough for swimming. Bingo! I alternately cast my favorite lures in vain and enjoyed my first swimming in 2019.
（目的としている種ではなかったものの、昨日の釣果のおかげで、宍道湖の巨大スズキ追求にかける私の情熱は、一時的に弱まりました。今朝は、島根半島沿岸の磯の中でも最もよく魚が釣れる釣り場の一つ、野波の猿渡へ行ってきました。釣りの他に、私にはもう一つ別の情熱があるのです。それは、海で泳ぐこと。ここ数日、季節外れの温かさとなっており、私は、海水も泳げるくらいの温かさになっているのではないかと推測したのです。それが大当たり！ お気に入りのルアーを無駄に投げることと、2019年の初泳ぎを楽しむことを、交互に繰り返しました。）
