It was about 5:45 a.m. today. I was driving to Maruiwa in Owashi. I saw a huge wild boar dashing across the road when I was driving over a small hill. Several tiny boars followed their mother so faithfully that I had to put on the brakes. Otherwise, I would hit them. This summer has been the hottest in recent memory. Did this excruciating heat have to do with the appearance of the boar family in a residential area? Unlike on land, no wild creatures including fish appeared at sea. Was this also an effect of this heat wave?
（今朝の午前５時45分頃のことでした。私は車で、大芦の丸岩に向かっていたのです。小さな丘を越えようとした時、巨大なイノシシが、道路を駆け足で横切りました。続いて数頭の小さなイノシシが、お母さんを律儀に追いかけていきます。私はブレーキを踏まねばなりませんでした。さもなければ、きっと衝突していたことでしょう。記憶にある限り、これほど暑い夏は初めてです。この情け容赦のない暑さが、民家周辺へのイノシシ親子の出現に関係しているのでしょうか？ 陸と異なり、海においては、魚を含めて野生の生き物が出現することはありませんでした。これもまた、酷暑の影響でしょうか？）
