I stopped going to Lake Shinji at last. The seriously hot summer had arrived, and the water temperature in the shallow area of the lake became too high for big Japanese sea bass to chase my big plugs. This morning I went to Maruiwa in Owashi. There was a lot of small fish around the huge rock, but the sea was very quiet. Nothing happened to my topwater/surface lures, so I spent some considerable time in using a Tsunami Ball Jig at the seabed. I thought I might catch Hong Kong groupers, but nothing happened to the bottom-bouncing lure too, except it got snagged and eventually lost.
（ついに私は、宍道湖へ行かなくなったのでした。猛暑の夏が到来し、湖の浅瀬の水温は急上昇、その結果、大きなスズキたちは私の大きなプラグを追わなくなったのです。今朝は、大芦の丸岩へ行きました。この巨岩の周囲では小魚がたくさん泳いでいましたが、海は静かでした。トップウォーター／表層ルアーには何も起きなかったので、私はかなりの時間をかけて、ツナミのボールジグを海底で使いました。キジハタが釣れるのではないかと思ったのですが、海底を上下に弾むこのルアーにもまた、何も起きませんでした。ただ根掛かりし、ロストしてしまっただけでした。）
